Little Known Ways New Jersey Empowered the Union

Not much news is ever regarding the Garden State of New Jersey. The third state to ratify the constitution, this state was a major player in our independence story. Significant battles at Trenton in 1776 and Princeton in 1777 were fought.  We all know the story of George Washington crossing the Deleware.  There were also about 100 other confrontations in New Jersey during the American Revolution.
